Jointly hosted by the Ontario Hong Kong and Kowloon Chapters, the 2-day conference was extremely well organzised and executed. Hundreds of Wahyanites and their families coming from all parts of the world had a great weekend in Toronto despite of the outside workers strike and the hot weather with mid-day temperatures soaring to 35 degrees C.
With the theme "Beyond Nostalgia", the conference brought to the attendees waves of nostalgic moods and successfully expanded their minds to frontiers beyond the past and the present and into the future of Wah Yan. Reports from the various overseas chapters were well balanced with various issues concerning the two schools, the Jesuit Fathers and the roles of the old boys.
Wah Yan Hong Kong and Kowloon Chapters have succeeded in getting the unamnimous votes to be the joint host of the next International Conference to be held in the year 2004.
